How to upload a file or image
Create a new image title somewhere -- that's the key.
Whenever you see a red image title
click on it to upload the image.
So, how do you "create a new image title somewhere"?
Add the new image title to your user page
Add [[ File:filename ]] to upload.
Save the page (shift-alt-s)
Then, click on the red image title and proceed to upload.
That's all there's to it.
