Training: Teach management 101 to your team
Surprisingly, even people with management experience commonly do not know the basics of management and supervision. Assess each leader and manager and provide “Manager 101” training as needed. Examples are:
- Treat others as you’d like them to treat you;
- Trust is vital;
- Give praise when it’s deserved; and
- Create an environment where there are no dumb questions.
