Howard "Jim" Kucher is a serial entrepreneur and recognized thought leader in social entrepreneurship who has secured over $70m in working capital on behalf of mission oriented enterprises. As Founder and Managing Director of Income For Outcomes, A Benefit LLC, Kucher works with leading and emerging social benefit initiatives to improve outcomes and increase sustainable revenues. 

Kucher recently earned a Doctorate in Public Administration with a concentration in Social Entrepreneurship from The University of Baltimore, where he also earned an MBA with an entrepreneurship specialization. He holds a B.A. from Kean University and has also earned certification as a project management professional and a new product development professional. Kucher has taught entrepreneurship, marketing, management, sales, project management and product development as a faculty member at various area schools.

Among his many honors, he has been recognized as a Baltimore Renaissance Seed Scholar and an Unsung Hero of Small Business. His most recent publication is “Social Enterprise as a means to reduce Public Sector Deficits” in the Journal of Entrepreneurship and Public Policy (2012 -Vol. 1 Iss: 2).

An active member of the community, Jim is President of the Maryland Chapter of the Social Enterprise Alliance, a member of the board of the University of Maryland School of Social Work Community Outreach Service program, and an advisor to the Social Innovation Lab at Johns Hopkins University.
